Ok. We’ve survived the Best Cruelty Free Complexion Makeup of 2017, so now for what I usually find slightly more exciting – Eyes and Lips! I’m not going to dilly dally as we still have a lot of great makeup to cover, so without further ado, I bring you the 2017’s Best Cruelty Free Makeup for Eyes and Lips!
You may have noticed that there’s a new palette in town. Though the hype is dying down a bit, there has been a lot of talk about the new Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette. This is the latest offering in Urban Decay’s infamous “Naked” line of supposedly neutral palettes, and I must say that I’m losing any sense of what significance there even is to the designation. This flamin’ hot palette takes neutrals to the pinky-orange side. Pinky-orange neutrals? I guess that’s a thing these days. Lol! Semi-mocking aside, you can create wearable looks with this palette, but it’s not going to be for everybody. I’m guessing if you’re not going to like it, you already know it…and are probably not reading this review! But before I give away the store, let’s talk about the palette some more.
Happy official first Favorites of Summer!!! ☀️ I cannot believe that June is already coming to an end. I know, stereotypical blogger Favorites opening. 😜 It’s so true though! Seriously, where is the year going?!?! Enough! I have a lot of favorites from June so I’m not going to ramble…too much! 😉 We’ve got some hair care, skin care, SPF – good and bad – body care, makeup and something kinda random. So let’s get into it!!!
How is it Summertime already?! I remember when I was a little kid and every school year took for-ev-er, but now? Months go by like weeks! Anyway, I love Summer so I’m really happy to see the sun shining bright, longer days, and oh how I enjoy the hot sticky goodness that’s still to come! Hmmm. That sounded a bit obscene, no? I don’t mean it that way! 😜 I’m just a fan of warm weather. I find 80 degrees to be damn near perfection! 😆 I think I’m weird that way, but I love Summer! Why the hell am I rambling on about Summer when I’m trying to get to my May Favorites? 😂 That’s right, it’s time for all the things I’ve been loving throughout May!!! 🎉
If you saw my InstaStories this past week, a) thank you for watching my nonsense! and b) you’ll know that I went on a short road trip with my dad. It was just overnight, but I still over-packed…especially with the makeup. 😉 To be fair, I did use almost everything, but it’s a lot. Since I only took things that I love, I thought I would share the contents of my “travel” makeup bag with you!
