Cruelty Free Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations – Spring 2017

It’s the second most wonderful time of the year for those of us with massive Sephora addictions! 😝 That’s right! The Sephora VIB Sale is almost here!!! I thought I would go through some of my favorite cruelty free products available at Sephora to give you a few recommendations while considering what new goodies to pick up this go-round. Real quick, the details as I understand them are that the sale runs from April 18th through the 24th for VIB Rouge members and your discount will be 15% off of everything as many times as you choose to shop in that time frame! Similarly, VIB member will receive 15% off between April 19th and 24th, while Beauty Insiders will be getting 10% off from April 20th through April 23rd. If you’re one of these lucky Sephora Insider members, you should receive a card in the mail as well as a code in your email that can be used over and over again during the above mentioned dates! There has also been some fantastic cruelty free news: Tashina from Logical Harmony has confirmed that Smashbox and Marc Jacobs Beauty (not the fragrances) have been added to her cruelty free list (Stila‘s back too)!!! Discounts and new brands and cruelty free goodness, oh my! 😜 Enough silliness, let’s get to the recommendations (linked to reviews if I have one). 😉

Cruelty Free March Favorites 2017!

Ok. We’re back to the “Where the hell did March go?” kinda Favorites introduction again. 😜 But seriously. What happened to March? It went crazy fast and it wasn’t even that busy for me. I think it must be because I got sick at the very beginning of the month…I think it was March. 😄 But on to the point – it’s March Favorites time!!! 🎉 We’re gonna go through all the things I’ve been loving this month (at least the things that I haven’t mentioned recently). I haven’t really been wearing a lot of makeup, but as always, that hasn’t eliminated the favorites. 😉 And as a friendly reminder, we’re still in the midst of Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty which always makes March more exciting…not to mention there should be a Sephora Rouge/VIB discount coming up as well!!! If you missed the cruelty free steals happening at Ulta, I have a post detailing them all here. But let’s get back to the point and just jump into the crème de la crème from March! 😆

Testing Out Milk Makeup

There’s a new cruelty free makeup brand popping up at Sephora these days and it’s called Milk Makeup. I really hadn’t heard a lot about the brand, but something about it intrigued me. Wanting to satisfy my curiosity, I have tested out quite a few pieces from the line and wanted to share my findings with you. The brand itself has quite a young, edgy vibe to it. From the names to the shades to even the packaging. Most everything comes in stick or tube form – perfect for gals on the go! After all, the company markets their products to be a “multifunctional, high tech, low-maintenance line for girls who spend less time getting done up and more time getting stuff done.” Kind of a cool idea if you ask me! 🙂 According to Sephora’s site, everything is also made with the “best quality natural ingredients.” And the shades are anything but boring neutrals. These products are meant for the bold. Kind of strange that I was drawn to any of these things actually since I tend towards rather boring neutral makeup. But I threw caution to the wind and this is what I found…!

It’s April Favorites Time! :)

AprilFavorites2016-0002

Wow did April fly by! Cliché but true. I truly don’t know where this month went! I do know that I’ve tried a lot of new beauty products though. Some have been daily staples, but for others I’m still forming my opinions. Given all of that info, it should come as no surprise that today I’m going over all of my April Favorites! 😉 I’ve got a fair amount to go through and we all know that I am incapable of being brief, so hopefully you’re comfortable because we’re jumping into the favorites! 😀
