Ahhhhh!!! It’s that time of year again! Yup, Sephora’s annual VIB / VIB Rouge 20% Off Sale! If you’re a Rouge member, you are probably aware that the sale just began for you (code “20ROUGE”)! ? For Rouge members, the sale runs from November 4-7, while VIB members get a go at the sale from November 11-14 (code “20VIB”). Given this always exciting event, I thought I would share some of my cruelty free recommendations with you today! So let’s get started as this could become rather lengthy. ?

I’m going to start with some of the limited edition Holiday gift sets for eyes. I must say, I’m actually a bit disappointed with the gift set offerings so far this year. I feel like there aren’t that many, and maybe I just have been buying them for too long, but nothing seems new. There are a few noteworthy sets and palettes though, so here are some of my favorites! ?

Kat von D MetalMatte Eye Shadow Palette $60
This palette is long! It’s filled with beautiful shades that add a touch of color with a chunk of neutrals. There are 9 of the fantastic Metal Crush shadows and 13 matte eyeshadows.

Too Faced Grande Hotel Café $49
I have reviewed this set with swatches here. It is probably my favorite of the Too Faced eyeshadow sets this year!

Ardency Inn MODSTER Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner Trio $29
These eyeliners are absolutely fantastic! So creamy and pigmented! You receive “Black,” a brown called “Coffee,” and the beautiful “Gold.” Highly recommend!

I feel like the Holiday lip sets are where Sephora’s really shining this year…well, the brands are at least. My faves?

Buxom White Hot Lips 3-Piece Mini Lip Collection $18
This contains one mini of their Big & Sexy Bold Gel Lipsticks in Sinful Cinnamon (matte) & Sultry Mauve (satin), plus a mini Full-On Lip Cream in Rose Julep (other shades reviewed here).

Buxom Freezes Over 15 Piece Mini Lip Collection $59
Contains 5 mini Full-On Lip Creams in Dolly, Berry Bramble, Sangria, Berry Blast & White Russian (3 shades reviewed here); 5 mini Full-On Lip Polishes in Sugar, Jane, Emma, Nicole & Sandy; and 5 mini Wildly Whipped Lightweight Liquid Lipsticks in Devious Dolly, Criminal, Dominatrix, Lover & Centerfold.

Too Faced Merry Kissmas The Ultimate Liquified Lipstick Set $25
Though not one of my personal favorite formulas, I know lots of people love it! You receive 2 mini Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks in Melted Fig & Melted Chihuahua, 1 mini Melted Chocolate Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Chocolate Honey, and 1 Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipstick in Lady Balls.

There are a few “face” holiday gifts as well. The ones I think are worth a look are:

Cult classic highlighters in liquid and pressed form. Both in the pale gold shade known as “Moonstone.”

NARS Sarah Moon Blush in Impudique $30

Not a set, but a limited Holiday shade that is wonderfully pigmented (a little goes a long way) and it’s gorgeous!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush Palette Color Wheel $44

If skincare is more your thing, there are actually some pretty exciting sets…well, at least I think they are! ?

There are 100 shades to choose from and they have 5 formulas – cream, matte, comfort matte, metallic and sheer. Some of my faves include “714,” Firebird,” “Sheer Shame,” and “Bad Blood.”

These are fantastic to have on hand for custom adapting a foundation shade and/or amping up the coverage level of your foundation. It can also be used alone as an intensely pigmented concealer. I’ve reviewed them here.

Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blush $26

Some of my favorite blushes! The shades “How Deep is Your Love?” and “Your Love is King” are vegan. My most used shade is “Baby Love,” followed by “Your Love is King.” Adorable packaging, great pigment and good lasting power make these fantastic blushes! ?

Olivia Palermo x Ciate London Nail Collection $24

These are pricey polishes, but the brush, the formula and the pigment are stunning! The packaging alone makes these little beauties beyond gift-worthy! My favorites are “Napa Valley” – the perfect burgundy, and “Sundays” – a beautiful bearly baby pink.

Commodity Gold Eau de Parfum $26-$105

I don’t own this, but it smells gorgeous! Just so expensive, but with 20% off, maybe?! ?

Comptoir Sud Pacifique Eau de Toilette Vanille Abricot / Vanille Extreme / Vanille Coco $22-$85

These cruelty free scents aren’t the longest lasting, but if you’re a vanilla lover, they are beautiful! I have and love the “Vanille Abricot,” which smells like sweet wonderful candy. I also have the “Vanille Coco,” a beautiful coconut-vanilla dream that’s half suntan lotion, half vanilla. The “Vanille Extreme” is a fantastic straight French vanilla-type scent that’s great as well!

Pinrose Eau de Parfum $55

Honestly I think I love every one of these vegan scents! I purchased one of their sample sets a while back and they’re all just beautiful! If you’re interested in a sample set, check out the Pinrose website* (get $10 off $20 with the link) where they have a few different sets, the option to purchase 30 of your choice of their fragrance “Petals” (pre-soaked towelettes that wipe the scent onto the skin), or you can purchase a sampler of the “Petals” with a gift certificate for one or two full size bottles. I highly recommend this option for a gift actually! You can also customize your fragrance bottle on their site for only $5 more. Sneaky hint, when I signed up for their mailing list, I received a 20% off coupon. ? If you twisted my arm and I had to pick favorites, I’m leaning towards the vanilla-y “Secret Genius” and the light floral “Tambourine Dreamer” right now.

Invisibobble Traceless Hair Ring (great for those who workout) $8

Foreo Luna Mini 2 $139

I don’t own this, but want to! I have tried the disposable Play version and feel it’s a great skin cleansing device. I cannot say for certain that it makes a huge difference, but now’s the time to try one if you’re interested.

T3 Twirl Convertible 1.25” Curling Iron $185

I love this curling iron. It works quite well, you can purchase interchangeable barrels of various types and sizes (I recommend those too if you’re buying this iron!). It’s not bad to look at either. ?

T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand $270

I don’t own this per se, but I do have the above curling iron. If this version has barrels you’re more likely to use, go with this option as it’s a great value!

T3 Single Pass Luxe Professional Straightening and Styling Iron $180

Fantastic flat iron! Least importantly, it’s so pretty! ? More importantly, it works fantastically and my style will last for days without requiring touch ups! I can also use a really low setting and still get stick straight hair, thus minimizing damage. It’s great!

I’m guessing this is rather overwhelming, but it’s less intimidating than the entire Sephora site, right? ? I hope you’ve found these suggestions helpful. If you’re a VIB or VIB Rouge, I highly recommend you take advantage of this sale since cosmetics are so rarely discounted! Let us know what you picked up as I’m sure we would all love to know! Also, if you have any other suggestions, throw them out there. More is more…unless you’re my wallet and you’re already crying. ? Thank you for stopping by and happy shopping!!! ?
