The Bite Beauty Fruit Lip Scrub is a beautiful moisturizing exfoliating mousse that not only works wonders, but is good for you! Very gentle since it uses jojoba beads and fruit acids instead of rough sugars like many others, this also does not leave behind any granules one has to lick off or wash clean with water. It applies just like a lip balm, only it works even better! It has a very faint cherry flavor, but I hardly notice it which is a plus in my book. Definitely pick up Bite’s Fruit Lip Scrub if your lips are feeling a bit less than soft this winter. It really works!

ingredients. Most natural products do not live up to their claims, but the Bite Fruit Lip Scrub certainly does! Though I was very skeptical when first applying it, I felt immediate results. Initially, I didn’t notice any scrubby feeling like one would expect with an exfoliant, but after I used it a few more times, I noticed very gentle little white beads that helped scrub away flakes, though it was not really needed since the balm itself worked wonders! My lips are instantly smoothed and any chapped bits seem to almost melt away! Not only that, but my lips feel very soft, conditioned and perfectly moisturized. They do not feel at all greasy, just soft and moisturized. I don’t even feel a desire to follow up with lip balm, though I often do just for good measure. This lip scrub actually surpassed my expectations (although I have to admit, they were not very high).
The ingredients in this lip scrub are different from your standard lip products. For one, they’re good for you! As with all Bite products, the Fruit Lip Scrub uses only food-grade ingredients. Among them is the antioxidant Resveratrol, the anti-aging ingredient found in red wine. This lip scrub contains the equivalent of 5 glasses of red wine to fight free radicals and condition the skin around the lips. Also included are time released jojoba beads to which very gently and continually “scrub” the lips. Natural fruit acids rich in Vitamin C also help to exfoliate and brighten. The scrub is also free from parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances and colorants, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan.
