NYX Total Control Drop Foundation – REVIEW!

NYX has brought out what I initially thought was a less expensive version of the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops – a “coverage drop” that can be mixed with a product of your choosing to amp up the coverage. However after a bit more research and actually trying this new dropper foundation – which is all that it is, not a mixing agent – I can honestly say they have very little in common beyond the dropper bottle packaging. Though I do love the Custom Cover Drops, I may just like the NYX Total Control Drop Foundation even more! 😍 Let’s just get into the who, what, when, where, why of it, shall we? 😜

Companies That DON’T Test on Animals – New Addition!

Probably the most useful resource for anyone who is or is going cruelty free is a list of brands that qualify as cruelty free. I’ve wanted to compile such a list for a loooong time, but I must admit that it’s an overwhelming chore that requires a lot of maintenance. Alas, I’m going to do it because it’s important, useful and I feel obligated to provide you – and myself – as much information as possible. You may have already noticed a new drop-down menu at the top of the site called “Cruelty Free Resources.” Hover over it and you will see an option for a “Companies That DO NOT Test” list. Here is where a link to this list will live. I also plan to add a “Companies That DO Test” list as well as an “Awaiting Response / Grey Area” list. For right now, all that information is included in this post, but I want a central location to keep the info that can be found quickly and easily from anywhere on the site. Luckily, this menu bar follows even as you scroll down the page so you’ll be able to access it from any page no matter where you are on the site. This list will always be a work in progress as testing policies, parent companies, markets, etc are in constant flux, not to mention there are always more companies to check with. I will do my best to find a way to let you know the last date of contact with a company, though at this moment I have yet to come up with an acceptable way of doing this (if you have any thoughts, please let me know!). I’m going to try though.
